Assistant Project Manager


  • Actively participate in day-to-day pricing exercises

  • Attend pre bid site walks and establish client relationships

  • Complete thorough quantity take-offs and proposals

  • Review bid documentation and incorporate all necessary information in proposals

  • Identify and outline clear project scopes to our customers

  • Proactively identify and discuss potential issues and/or scope gaps with client teams throughout the bid process and before contract issuance

  • Participate in contract negotiations

  • Effectively communicate with client estimating teams to ensure we are exceeding their expectations

Experience Requirements:

  • Proficient using computers

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office and Outlook

  • 4+ year college degree (construction related degree preferred)

  • Experience using Bluebeam and On Screen Takeoff/Quick Bids is preferred

  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred

  • Personable, a good communicator and a “can do” attitude



Project Manager


  • Master all responsibilities of the APM position

  • Set up new projects and relay necessary internal information to Gerloff accounting team

  • Create accurate schedule of values and billing sheets

  • Provide all new project documentation as required by client teams: submittals, job specific safety plans, etc.

  • Create and maintain all project related documentation in our cloud based construction management software

  • Facilitate project hand off meetings with our field teams to ensure they have all necessary information prior to mobilization

  • Complete vendor buyouts

  • Create thorough project specific coordination plans and material lists

  • Plan, manage and facilitate jobsite material stocking activities

  • Attend progress and coordination meetings as required by the client

  • Participate in internal weekly communication meetings

  • Manage and monitor job costs

  • Manage and monitor jobsite quality and labor production

  • Create, manage and execute change orders

  • Make day to day decisions related to Gerloff operations on projects

  • Complete accurate monthly billing projections

  • Ensure Gerloff field operation teams have everything they need to effectively execute projects

  • Take full ownership and responsibility on all projects

  • Customers one stop POC for all projects

  • Willing to jump in and do whatever it takes to meet and exceed client expectations

  • Build upon and foster client relationships

 Experience Requirements:

  • Proficient using computers

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Bluebeam and On Screen Takeoff/Quick Bids

  • 4+ year college degree (construction related degree preferred)

  • 4+ years of experience in the construction industry

  • Strong worth ethic and interpersonal skills
